To offer consultancy and extension services to the member distilleries for establishing and modernizing distillery units and effluent treatment plants.

To offer guidance to distilleries and ETPs for improving process efficiencies, yields & product quality and achieving zero liquid discharge through water and energy balance.

To conduct academic activities for the distillery and alcoholic beverage industries through Diploma, Master and other tailor-made short-term courses.

To carryout research and development in the area of alcohol, biofuels, liquors and effluent treatment technologies.

To diversify in the field of biofuels and other byproducts for sustainable growth of sugar industry.

To provide technical advice to Government and non-Government organizations related to alcohol industry.

To organize International & National level conferences
