Ph.D. Program
The department offers Ph.D. program in Environmental Sciences from University of Pune and Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
VSI provides excellent facilities to M.Sc. students, research associates as well as faculty

Alumni
It is almost 25 years that VSI started a Post Graduate course in Environmental Sciences. Initially the course has started as a two year Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Science & Engineering in 1992. The Association of Indian Universities recognized it as equivalent to a Master’s Degree from any Indian University in the year 1998. From the year 2008, VSI started offering MSc in Environmental Sciences in affiliation with the University of Pune (now Savitribai Phule Pune University). In the past 25 years, many students have passed through the portals of VSI and have gone onto careers in various areas of environment. We are now hoping to integrate this diverse talent pool through an alumni network to further strengthen the bond with VSI, to help alumni network amongst themselves and to mentor the new students of VSI.....
